Dr Tran graduated BSc/LLB (Hons), MBBS from the University of Queensland. She completed dermatology training in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast at all major tertiary and regional hospitals. During her dermatology training she was part of a team who initiated a program for rapid access to skin cancer surgery service established at SCUH in 2019, which was awarded the State Winner of the 2019 Queensland Government Winner for Excellence in Healthcare.

Prior to training in dermatology, her research was in melanoma biology and response to novel systemic therapeutics, advancing accuracy of skin cancer detection and monitoring with new technology. She has a keen interest in advancing technology development in healthcare. She continues to be interested in innovative medical research, translating research knowledge to real-life patient’s optimal clinical outcome and educating the next generation of doctors. She is a lecturer for the University of Queensland.

Dr Tran has an interest in all aspects of dermatology: medical, surgical and cosmetics. She is the founder of Duxchess Dermatology, privately practises at Haut Dermatology, Eye Tech Day Surgeries Spring Hill in Brisbane and Teledermatologist Services Australia with a mission to provide equitable and exceptional dermatology care access for patients from all background and from all corners of the Australian continent.
