Dr Margit Polcz

Dr Margit Polcz is a specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She is a senior staff specialist at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where she oversees clinics in General dermatology and Transplant dermatology. Dr Polcz maintains a keen interest in Dermatology teaching and is a clinical senior lecturer with the University of Sydney.
Dr Polcz graduated medical school from the University of Queensland in 2009, following a previous degree in Anatomy and Cell biology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Before her specialist training, Dr Polcz worked in Queensland as a qualified General Practitioner and participated in running several dermatological clinical trials for agents for inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer. She obtained a Masters of Medicine Degree in the area of Skin Cancer from the University of Queensland in 2014. Dr Polcz completed her specialist dermatology training in several tertiary hospitals in New South Wales including St. Vincent’s hospital, Royal Prince Alfred hospital, Westmead Hospital, the Prince of Wales hospital and Sydney Children’s hospital.
Dr Polcz takes an individualised approach to patient management and is passionate about providing excellent dermatological care. In addition to general dermatology her special interests include medical and surgical skin cancer management, inflammatory skin disease and paediatric dermatology.
