Conjoint Associate Professor Deshan Sebaratnam completed medical school at UNSW, graduating with Honours. As part of his dermatology training with the Australasian College of Dermatologists, he was chosen to complete a Fellowship at St. John’s Institute for Dermatology in London.

He is a Staff Specialist at Liverpool Hospital and has established a Paediatric Dermatology service for South Western Sydney. He has an active interest in research, and has over 100 publications and over 1000 research citations.
