Liang Joo Leow, OAM

Dr Leow practices in metropolitan Sydney and regional New South Wales, and is a visiting medical officer at St Vincent’s Private Hospital. He is a clinician and researcher with a special interest in multi-system inflammatory disorders, skin cancer and dermatologic surgery.

He holds fellowships of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the American College of Mohs Surgery, and an associate fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA). Dr Leow is on the editorial board of Advances in Therapy and is appointed Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame Australia. He has served as Specialist Adviser at the Therapeutic Goods Administration, as well as a core member of its Advisory Committee on Medicines.

His academic publications span diverse topics, including psoriasis, skin cancer and procedural dermatology. Beyond dermatology, he is involved in aged care governance as a board member of Multicultural Care, and represents RACMA on the Women in Health Leadership Community of Practice.

In 2022, he received the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology’s Leadership Development Programme scholarship.
